"The Algilà is a wonderful boutique hotel with beautiful ocean views, comfortable rooms and an extremely dedicated staff. My wife was not feeling well during our stay. The staff arranged to have the doctor visit her in our room. They stayed to help translate and make sure she was ok. The room was spacious and very clean. We dined at the restaurant and had a very nice meal. I would highly recommend the Algila Ortegia Hotel to anyone visiting Siracusa."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Lanterne Magiche in Ortigia! The hotel is a charming combination of multiple buildings, with a beautiful old-world look on the outside while offering a modern, comfortable feel inside. Our room was spacious, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The robes and slippers were an especially nice luxurious touch! The staff was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. Breakfast was just what we needed to start our days of exploring, with a nice selection and a comfortable atmosphere. And the location was perfect—it made it so easy to explore Ortigia on foot and experience everything the city has to offer. A beautiful property with wonderful staff, a great location, and all the comforts you could want. We would absolutely stay at Lanterne Magiche again!"

"Beautiful hotel in the middle of historic Ortigia. It’s so charming and the staff was so sweet and helpful. I could not recommend this hotel more!! Oh, delicious breakfast. The coffee barista was awesome!"

"Really enjoyed our stay. Close to everything - sea, restaurants and shops. 5 minute walk to the market. Big room. Friendly staff. It has a great rooftop terrace. A little misleading about the pool - it is at the other property across the street and costs $20 euros for an hour. We parked at a public multi-level garage - about an 8 minute walk. The property is in a ZTL. Loved Ortigia."
