"the room was spacious (we had a bedroom and a kitchen with a couch- the ocean view was debatable ( you can only see the ocean if you stand right in front of a high window ) - the terrace is lovely, the breakfast was ok but no vegan options"
"Awesome boutique hotel with cats and nuns—great views of the sea from some rooms. If you’re looking for a 3-star hotel in a superb location with very kind staff, you can’t go wrong here!"
"My husband and I had an amazing time. The location was ideal. Very close to shopping and restaurants but very quiet. Everyone there was so nice and helpful and the breakfast was perfect for a day of roaming around. We will stay here every time we visit Ortigia"
"The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the rooms really comfortable and so clean. The whole place was warm ,which was a benefit as the weather outside was distinctly wet and cold.( It was March) The breakfast was all you could wish for and the communal table was an opportunity to meet and talk to people from all over the world. Highly recommended."
"The hotel doesn’t offer free breakfast but it’s very convenient to get food with feel steps away. I love the location and cleanliness of the property. The staff is super friendly and helpful. She contacted me days before my trip to provide help I need it. It worth the money I paid for. "
"We had such a lovely room, the private patio was gorgeous with many health plants and panoramic views of Ortigia. We could see the city on the right and the sea on the left. With the wooden table & chairs we had a lovely breakfast out there with a view and we were able to catch a beautiful sunset on our first night without having to leave. The staff made us feel comfortable and welcome, and the room was very clean & quiet. We would absolutely come back again."
"The hotel is nice and the staff excellent. However we had room 101 which gave onto the main restaurant, had no view, and the window of the bedroom is opaque and almost impossible to open , even then, only onto to a court so no view.
The greatest issue was that all the switches were difficult to understand and it was impossible to get the heating right. I was freezing during the night and ended up having to wear clothes. "
"I loved this hotel. Stairs are not my friend and even though there is no elevator they had a ground floor apt for me. The people are lovely. I would stay here again. It’s an historic building and area thoughtfully cared for which speaks to my heart. "
