The location is great, very close to shopping and restaurants. The hotel was very welcoming and clean. My only complaint was the WiFi connection was not good and no end tables in the room. Also, the air conditioning was okay, but needs to be upgraded. It was hard to keep the room at a comfortable level.

The vibe was pretty good. Not near enough chairs if place is full. Not even close. And very uncomfortable to lounge in. My room was not ready at check-in and took an hour. Then it wasn’t swept or mopped. Room was livable for 2 nights but basically dirty. Staff was real nice and location is awesome. Guests were easygoing and everyone got along.

The stay was very enjoyable and the staff are very accommodating. I think the general consensus was good vibes. This area of Palm Desert is the somewhat nicer downtown, though with slightly less character. Otherwise the food and people were all as enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Mod! I would say the only thing we didn’t like is that our presidential suite was the first one when you walked in and we had about 6 different random people slide open our doors and walk in to our room. Maybe some signs should be placed to avoid that in the future… but overall a good stay.

The room I stayed in, room 15 a little dirty and dusty in my opinion. It looked like maybe someone hadnt stayed there in a bit. The wifi disnt work well, I would loose connection and when I had connection it was slow majority of time. I stayed during the week and it was a little scary because I feel like I was the only one there. The were no lights or people that I saw in other rooms, maybe a slow week? The AC in this unit could not keep the main space cool, my first night there was hot, luckily the bedroom AC cooled the bedroom down better so I could sleep. The customer service line was helpful and courteous. Overall for a solo work trip this place met most of my needs. Maybe a little renovation and cleaning and a better AC would have made all the difference.

We love the place, we have enough room for 3 of us. Everything looks clean, kitchen was nice small but complete with all your needs. I know people complaining about the AÇ LOL we actually don’t really bother with the sound. The staff are excellent, we can’t complain. We’ve been traveling and staying at so many hotels/motels or condos like and all of them have good and bad but at the end of the day we only in our room for not long enough to complain, we just want to enjoy it and make memories with our daughter.

This was an interesting property. Pros- close to El Paseo Easy parking ( not covered ) Very clean, no damage or things that needed maintenance Pool was nice, had a few towels and raft available Rooms had kitchen area with coffee maker/ pods, fridge , some water and snacks bath products in the bathroom . Cons- nobody there to help . No contact phone number , nothing. We checked in Sunday and there was music playing , cocktails handed out and then we didn't see anyone until 10:59 am Monday and after that , nobody . We left Wednesday and saw one guy with a blower one day and the same guy mowing the lawn the next day. Cell service was spotty. No check out instructions were given , posted in the room or the office door. That would have been helpful along with a phone number . We had no kitchen trash can and no hair dryer , and nobody to contact. If you don't mind being alone on the property ; this is the place for you .

This is a cute little dated vintage motel. Rooms were clean. Beds are comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of Great Palm Desert Shopping. Beauitiful Mountain Views and near Joshua Tree. Room was not ready at check in. TV and internet service was less than intermittant. Walls are not very sound proof.
