“There was food tray beside our door when we checked in and it was still there the next day when we checked out. Made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the hotel. While trying to sleep a worker started loudly plastering the ceiling in the hallway right in front of our room. 9:30/10pm. The aircon was loud and turned on and off frequently. For a 400$ CND hotel I was very disappointed.”

“Very nice small hotel, nice pool, helpful friendly staff, excellent live music at dinnertime, beach was a very short walk away but the very shallow beach was not particularly inviting so we swam in the pool which was fine. Food was very good. Bed was quite comfortable. I would go again.”

“The breakfast was yummy both days that we were there, and the service at the restaurants was top-notch! However, we were disappointed not to have a swimming pool available to use as guests at Santarena Hotel. The rooftop infinity pool was way too small for the number of rooms available. ”

“This should not be considered a best western property. The rooms are not nice at all. The mattress is newer but is probably the hardest mattress I’ve ever tried to sleep on. The night club across the street was very loud all night and kept us up. Overall would not recommend. ”

“Nice room with perfectly renovated bathroom (I had #2). Good air condition and bed. Perfect for a quick early morning drive to the airport. Nice surroundings but close to main thoroughfare and restaurants and just across from downtown. (I brought a sleeping pill to sleep through the moderate street noise). Coffee available in lobby, nice surroundings and friendly bilingual personal, easy check in. Great value, recommended! ”
