"Great location, walkable and light rail, busses very close by"

"Review based on our stay in room 1006. for our two night stay. The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean for our two night stay. Parking was easy (though tight and very low clearance) and the hotel was accessibly directly from the car park. My only gripe was that our room was facing the building’s air conditioner unit which was quite noisy throughout the stay. If we were to stay in a different room, I’d probably stay again as the hotel is well located and directly opposite the Victoria Cross metro station. Worth noting that on the weekend, there are few options for eating out immediately around the hotel."

"Everything about the View was great. The rooms were as described, amazing views, the restaurant delivered quality food at great prices and staff were friendly and helpful. My only negatives would that the breakfast buffet wasn’t very hot, and staying above the train lines was very noisy. I wish i had known how loud and close the trains were and how much it would impact my sleep so i could have requested a room on a higher floor. Perhaps complimentary ear plugs would help but otherwise happy with our stay"

"Hotel is perfectly located to walk to the piers, the rocks, the opera house, catch a train into the city or a ferry to Manly or the zoo. Rooms are very large - you will be comfortable and able to stretch out while you are there. The common space on the ground floor is very nice, although sunset spots on the dock tend to book fast. The room has a mechanical shade you can lower with a light switch which is also helpful if you want to sleep in. For runners (which we were) there is a constant stream of people running past the hotel and a great route to the opera house and Macquarie’s seat. Small gripes: the gym there is minimalist and not really helpful - you also have to walk through the server’s space to get there. The shower is also oddly small - European in its smallness. Parking is crazy expensive and they throw you in a lot across the street behind a chain-link fence."
