“What a lovely place to stay. Jose was an excellent host and the grounds and courtyard felt private and relaxing.”

“We stayed in a shipping container! It wasn't a real room. It was cold. They provided us with 2 noisy space heaters that didn't heat enough. Sheets and blankets felt itchy. We couldn't sleep much. Staff was nice. Location and view were amazing. Breakfast was excellent. I don't recommend to stay there if you are hoping for a nice comfortable stay. ”

Nothing fancy but very tasty and well cooked, good value for money. 25 mins from airport (12km), easy drive just a little traffic to consider”

“The check in is strictly 2 pm. No earlier than that. The farm is so cute with friendly animals that are well taken care of. The restaurant is delicious, gourmet food at reasonable prices. The staff is very nice and accommodating all throughout the hotel. The room is comfortable, rustic and the fire place is a most at night time because it gets chilly. During the day the weather is warm. Is a great place to relax. ”

“We loved our stay at Chachagua! The room was beautiful and we felt immersed in the rainforest, while relaxing in luxery accomodations. The staff was amazing, the hot springs and river slide were definite highlights. Highly recommend and would say that it's worth the drive.”

“If you want a clean room in a very safe part of town, this is the place to stay. The staff was extremely courteous, the food was good, and the prices were good. Thumbs up!”

“This garden stay near the city was a wonderful stop on our way from the Pacific Coast to the Caribbean Coast. The pool was very clean and refreshing. Inid and her trusted companion Lucy were wonderful hosts. We ended up showing up early and were not turned away. Privacy was 100% being within the gates and the entire property is one huge garden. We were also lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves for the night. It was nice having our coffee next to the pool planning our next moves for...

“Clean rooms and friendly staff. La Fortuna is about a 30 min drive. The friendly (Giovanni and Louis) make the drive worth it. We were able to spot sloth from the facility (guess we were lucky). I would definitely recommend it if you are on a budget. ”

“This stay was perfect for us, the A/C works perfectly, the shower water was spectacular. We were only here for one night since we just needed a stay that would get us closer to our next stop and didn’t want to drive late at night but we definitely wouldn’t mind staying longer to relax. The host is very friendly and kind she goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed! ”
