Our recent stay at Fairmont Mayakoba was truly memorable. The property is spectacular, the setting beautiful, and the culinary experience outstanding, but what truly made the difference was the people. From before our arrival, the team provided exceptional assistance with reservations, transportation, and every detail of our stay. Throughout our visit, the service was extraordinary—always attentive, welcoming, and ready to help. The dining experience was fantastic. HIX had excellent sushi and wonderful service. Tauro was spectacular, with excellent steaks, beautifully prepared dishes, great wine, and outstanding service. La Laguna offered wonderful Mexican cuisine, while Las Brisas was another highlight, with exceptional food and a fantastic team. The Kids Club staff were wonderful, and the pool and beach teams provided impeccable service throughout our stay. What impressed us most was the genuine care and hospitality we experienced. Even when we raised a concern, the response and follow-up were exceptional. The property is beautiful, but the true luxury of Fairmont Mayakoba is its people. Thank you for making our family vacation so special. We hope to return!

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now it was beyond excellent on previous occasions. This last stay was far from it - having contacted them weeks in advance to book restaurants - they held off until the day of my cancellation at full priced refund to tell me that 70% of the resorts is closed for maintenance, this meant 50% of the restaurants closed and only one pool for use. Staff are friendly but they were stretched at breakfast even at a time when the occupancy was at 10% - as the main breakfast buffet restaurant was in the closed for maintenance section. This meant a reduced offering as opposed the excellent selection that was available previously. The staff at Tauro and HiX were excellent at all times. The Barsis restaurant was poorly manned and stretched at bfast.

Great property, not too crowded and spacious clean rooms. The beach was cleaned daily, but there is still seaweed on the ground and in the water. We had the all inclusive package which is highly recommended as we would have spend about $1500 per day for 4 extra without it! Lots of families with young kids, but the property is spacious so you can always find privacy.

The Fairmont Mayakoba is the best resort that I've ever been to. The vibe of the resort is peaceful and relaxing. The staff were incredibly helpful before I even arrived, helping me reserve dinners at the restaurants, my excursions and my spa appointment. They remained attentive throughout my stay. The resort is beautiful and the restaurants and other amenities were the highest quality. I strongly recommend the all-inclusive option so you can fully enjoy the restaurants. Thank you to Rocio, Rodolfo, Miguel, Alexa, Dayana, Miguel and the rest of the staff who made my vacation so wonderful.
