"Rooms are on the second floor of a historical downtown building. There are 24 stairs, but we travel light so it wasn’t a problem. Our room had a lot of character—some old fashioned looking furniture and decor, just one small window, floors that sloped toward the middle of the room, a large closet conveniently converted into an extra kid’s room with bunkbed, and a bit of a musty smell—the kind of stuff you expect in an old historical building. I image each room is unique in its own way. Beds were comfortable, linens were crisp and clean. Kitchen area was well equipped with new appliances and abundantly stocked with breakfast food since the hotel dining room was closed for renovations—a dozen eggs, frozen waffles and hash-browns, orange juice, sausage patties, bagels, and some frozen microwaveable breakfast sandwiches in case you’re in a hurry. We took our time and made a fantastic hot breakfast for ourselves. If you’re ok with a slightly quirky setup in an older building that has a lot of stairs but offers great service, then this place should suite you fine."

"Rooms are ok (good). But bathroom was not having proper basic shower or tap. The one shower they had sprinkle water everywhere and the water flow was very slow and the toilet was not clean. Staff was very friendly and responsive."
