"This is a great place to stay! Walkable to the harbor and the wharf but far enough to be quieter. The breakfast options were great and there is coffee and water all day. The staff is friendly and there is a big parking lot. We will definitely stay here again"

"I booked five rooms at the Avania Inn of Santa Barbara for my family for my graduation, and the experience was terrible. One of the rooms I booked showed multiple beds online three beds and I paid $540 for one night. But when I arrived, they gave me two queen beds and a sofa bed instead. When I talked to the supervisor, he said there was nothing he could do except cancel the room, even though the room I booked was clearly not what I received. On top of that, all five rooms had a strong bad smell, the carpets smelled dirty, and none of the rooms felt clean. For the price we paid and for such an important weekend, this hotel completely failed us. I would not recommend Avania Inn."

Clocktower Inn Ventura

"The hotel actually has a clocktower attached to it, hence it's name and it's very charming with an older European feel to it. There are windows that open directly with no window screens attached, older wood furnishing and floor. Break is provided in its own room, but I would recommend having a light jacket on in the morning as it does get colder overnight/early morning. The parking space is small, but there is street parking nearby and the hotel gives you a parking slip to place in your vehicle."

"The site was well maintained and clean as was the room. There is a McDonalds very close by for morning coffee, and Seaward avenue restaurants and the beach are just a few minutes walk away. Great, inexpensive place to stay for a visit to Ventura."
