"Excellent location near Duomo and lots of restaurants and shopping. Old building, no elevator, external bath, bare bone room but kind of big, AC good enough, Wi-Fi good, room and building not super clean but not gross. Worst part was no elevator. Man at counter was very helpful! "

"The entire experience was unique and wonderful from the moment we were greeted at the door. From our arrival , our entire stay was nothing short of magical. We were treated like family by Dominico and his staff, they were fabulous with such a personal touch and they were truly interested in your visit being wonderful. The view from our room looking out into the piazza at the Medici Duomo and the people below eith bells chiming and music yet a very quiet sleep at night. convenience stores right...

"Not fancy but clean, spacious, and nice staff. Beds with metals frames are creaky. Area is a little noisy but convenient, many restaurants in walking distance, about 10 min walk to Pitti palace and Boboli gardens, 15 minutes to Santa Maria Novella station. "

"We couldn't have asked to be in a better location to explore Florence. Dafne was very responsive and, when we had a problem with our key, she took care of us immediately. The room was lovely and easy for my daughter and me to get ready at the same time. Thank you for a wonderful visit."

"All the staff we encountered were excellent, being most helpful on arrival as we were a little before check in and the housekeeper, Anna did everything she could to help with luggage and car arrangements as there is No parking on-site. Parking is 30 euro per day. Carolina was fabulous with her recommendations for restaurants and letting us know that the streets were closed on our departure day and helping us coordinate a plan with luggage loading with the garage. "Really excellent location in an old building. Close to lots of sights. There's 1 window on the bedroom which is large but high up so you can only see the street if you stand on the ledge to see out. Air conditioning is only allowed from June to September but due to hot weather we requested to use it in may which was allowed by the owner. I wasn't aware of this law and I didn't see it on the listing. Maybe missed it but I tried hard to find it afterwards so if it is there it's not obvious."

"A good base for exploring Florence! If you are a light sleeper make sure to bring earplugs or a noise machine for the car/bike and hospital traffic noise. "
