Staff were excellent, rooms were large and clean, and it’s in a perfect location. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s an older hotel and doesn’t have a large pool, just pools you can sit in. I would definitely stay again!

The roof garden was the best part of the hotel. I would stray there again for the enjoyment of the roof terrace. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Some features of the room and kitchen were worn down. The bathroom was clean and functional.

Room needed an update. Old cabinets in the kitchen, pots and pans were scratched teflon bathroom vanity and tile were old and not clean. Space was nice, air conditioning worked well. Wifi only worked in kitchen area. Good location. Friendly staff. Would stay again if I could get a renovated room.

Cons: room is very outdated and dark, closet was broken, bed was hard and pillows lumpy and old; the room smelt musty, and the A/C barely worked, it kept having an error code and only somewhat was cool if you close the bedroom door, but the kitchen/living room was hot and stuffy with no A/C. I was scared to use anything in the room because they have this waiver you must sign and damage deposit you must pay. You must wash your dishes or will be charged a fee on departure. The area around hotel did not feel safe at night, we did not realize that when walking home at 9pm in the dark after dinner. I was not pleased with what I expected from the advertisement photos and views compared to what we really got. Pros: room was clean, despite musty old smell. Roof top was pretty, the two Pools were small, the size of a hot tub, but nice. The view was decent, you could see the ocean from afar, and it was quiet at night and during the day. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Location is close to the ocean, melecon, and close to Romantica Zone, minus the noise. They will store your suitcases at the front desk complimentary which is nice.

Totally loved it! Safe, colorful, & full of plants

Absolutely love to this place! Although not a five-star, it's full of charm, old Mexican wooden doors, colorful tiles on the stairwells, and tons of plants and flowers. A four-story mango tree in the central Courtyard just tops it all off. Would absolutely stay here again! Felt safe with my daughter traveling, and the people were wonderful!

Loved the location. Pool is not heated and small(just for sitting in). But the roof top area has a great view of the river and the bay. Room was excellent value with the kitchen having everything you need to make a meal and the staff were friendly but unfortunately the beds were terribly uncomfortable. I would not stay there again because we couldn’t get a good nights sleep on the bed. That being said if you can get past the bed this hotel was lovely!

The hotel is very convenient to the Malacon and the El Centro shops and restaurants. It is quaint, with a beautiful pool and garden area on the top floor.
