โThe accommodations were spartan but clean we had the "Family Room", the owner very nice and helpful. The bathroom and shower were fine. The double bed was 2 single beds pushed together.It is 15 minute walk to the station and to Byodo-in (main attraction in Uji) There are no food options close by but kitchen access was available.
The only real problem is that for anyone who has mobility issues, access to the room was 2 flights of very steep narrow stairs.โ
โThis was an extremely peaceful resort that was friendly to a first time Onsen user. The views of Osaka were beautiful, the breakfast was timely and delicious, and there were complimentary drinks including fresh juice and wine. Itโs not really a place you will want to walk to, and I do wish the patio was open earlier in the morning and later in the evening as that is where the views are best. โIt is a " love hotel " which it doesnt tell you on expedia , and the location is far away from everything including the train ( 2km) 30 min walk . But as a hotel it was great !! Clean and cleaned every day clean towels , sheets, a Great jacuzzi tub and a good shower . Everything you could want in a room. Big bed , big screen tv , karaoke and a fridge , microwave , a stand up fan good , and good air conditioning . Honestly its an amazing room for the price . But it is a love hotel .โ
