Great stay at L’alcazar. Good location within walking distance to almost everything you need in Rabat but not in the middle of the most chaotic sections. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and in two floors. But keep in mind the bathroom has no doors, not even the toilet.

We booked a week in this riad as it is in a strategic location for exploring the Kasbah and for pleasant walk by the seaside and the main town attractions. The location is within the medina and the place is quiet and cosy. The front of house team was helpful and courteous: Moustafa, George, Rashid, Sharon all helped in different ways making us feeling welcomed and arranging private taxi and dinners in flexible way as we asked. They were brilliant!

Absolutely loved our stay. Hotel was beautiful! Room was nicely decorated, comfortable, great location & clean. Rooftop pool was soothing, relaxing & quiet to come back to after a hot day of sightseeing. Breakfast was delicious & generously appointed. The staff, especially George, was attentive, accommodating, kind, took his sweet time to give us useful suggestions & his kind generous spirit was so refreshing every morning. I highly recommend!

Charles! Charles was a gem! He did everything in his power to ensure that we were well cared for! We loved our room with a somewhat private deck area. The bright green clawfoot tub was fun! The housekeeping lady was so pleasant and helpful.

L'Alcazar was opulent with Moroccan decor. The Moroccan staff was kind and professional. Kindness was top priority. The rooms are large. There is an amazing roof top terrace with a pool. You can walk out the front door into the Medina for shopping and traditional food. I highly recommend hiring a Rickshaw to tour Rabat's King's Palace and Chellah. Be sure to enjoy the mint tea. I highly recommend L'Alcazar and give it an A . Enjoy!

3 days in Rabat

I very much enjoyed my stay. The location was perfect and allowed me to walk to all of the various locations on my itinerary. They were nice enough to give me an upgraded room on a higher floor. It allowed me easy access to rooftop patio area. The room was furnished with a bathtub. However, my only issue with my stay was that the stopper in the tub did not work and I could not fill the tub. All in all, it was a great place and I would definitely stay again.

Morrocan detour

We were greated with kindness and offered tea. The riad is being remodled, however, our room was very clean and comfortable. The concierge was very attentive and helped us pick a fabulous restaurant for dinner.

This lovely riad is in a great location, right on the edge of the old Medina and about a 10-minute walk to the beach, the city center, and Kasbah of the Udayas. It’s very convenient but still quiet and peaceful. The decoration is beautiful and stylish—you can really see the good taste in every detail. The hotel is calm, and the service is friendly and helpful. If you’re lucky, you can even park on the street right in front of the hotel. If I could suggest a small improvement, it would be to add a few more things in the room, like a kettle, teacups, bottled water, coffee, and tea. That would make the stay even better. We stayed in the loft room, and the bedroom is upstairs. The stairs don’t have a handrail, which felt a bit unsafe, especially for older guests. Overall, if I visit Rabat again, I would still choose to stay here.

Très beau riad en bordure de la Medina de Rabat. Excellent petit déjeuner. Service très bon. Un écart entre la beauté du lieu et le niveau d'entretien : piscine peu entretenue, problème d'eau dans les toilettes de la chambre,...C'est dommage ! Nous avons quand même passé un bon séjour.

Das Riad liegt mitten in der Medina, sobald man durch die Türe tritt ist man in einer Ruhigen Oase, besonders der Mitarbeiter Rachid ist ein sehr freundlicher, höflicher und sehr aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir würden das Riad auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen und empfehlen es 100% weiter.
