We needed a place to stay for a week while helping out a family member. Had never stayed in a room at a casino before. Got a package deal through Expedia for the J Resort which also including our flight. Was not sure what to expect but it turned out to be a great choice. Every interaction we had with employees was overwhelming positive. Highly recommended!

They charged a $15 pp resort fee in addition to the Expedia payment. Had to walk through smoky casino to get to elevators to our room which was lovely. A bit of a hike from the garage

This was our first time visiting the J Resort and from the minute we entered the beautiful newly remodeled casino to the time that we checked out 3 days later we could not think of one negative comment. The staff is amazing. We have been to many many casinos and the staff at the J Resort is without doubt the most helpful, kind and friendly staff that we have ever and we mean ever met. The buffet was excellent. The one suggestion that we would make on the buffet is NOT to overcook the chicken wings and chicken entrees. Janet and Miguel (servers) were top notch and they are assets to the J family. Kudos to them. The cashiers were also awesome. We hope that a CASINO HOST WILL CALL OR TEXT US AND make us an OFFER ON OUR NEXT VISIT. We are thinking about Christmas time for our second visit. The one complaint that we have - and these are ALWAYS pet peeves: why in the world does the housekeeping staff NOT check the bottles in the showers? Our shampoo was completely out and it was obvious that it had been that way for awhile! IMO, it shouldn't matter that "I just filled that yesterday", what should matter is that there are probably some patrons who simply refill their own personal bottles using the bottles in the shower!!! Also...the drain for the sink was VERY slow to drain, indicating a blockage of sorts. As a manager, I would give each housekeeper an erasable pad on which she would be able to check off these items that need maintenance, and turn those in at the end of their shift - or make the supervisor aware of an issue for immediate attention.

Great resort .. newly rennovated .. great room .. great beds .. great shower room .. cordial and professional staff .. easy parking .. no homeless people or crack heads sleeping in the doorways or panhandling around the resort entrances.

Property is fairly new and updated. Staff was friendly, helpful and professional. House keeping was not up to par. We were offered full housekeeping when we checked in, but they failed to deliver. Bed was not made on first day and no bath towels were left. When we asked for them, they were quickly delivered. Next day we got bath towels but only 1 facecloth and hand towel. The hall way to the room was not vacuumed for the entire 4 days we were there. A candy wrapper, crumbs and debris were there for the entire 4 days. On the positive side, the room was clean, great bathroom and restaurants were great.
