"We have three little kids and had a bunch of stuff to bring in. The elevator was broken, and we got put on the second floor. The guy at the front desk offered to help, which was nice. Some other things: the outside of the hotel is nice, but the inside is not well-maintained. They were doing renovations that weren't mentioned in the listing. The hot tub was also broken, so they turned the temperature of the pool up to 90 degrees. We weren't planning to use the pool, but with three little kids that would have made it much more difficult."

"Not luxury. Not honest. Not safe. I booked at $239.76. I was charged $264.31 immediately — undisclosed fees added without consent. Then a post-payment rental agreement, never disclosed at booking, stated all charges are “valid and final.” I was required to sign it or forfeit my nonrefundable payment. Then a $150 deposit was demanded at the door to receive my door code — also not in my booking confirmation. Every additional charge appeared after my money was already committed. The owner told me she had no control over pricing. Hotels.com submitted a formal waiver request — which the owner denied. She had full authority the entire time and chose to say otherwise. When she suggested I rebooked direct, I asked for written confirmation I would be refunded and not twice charged. She went silent. Every attempt to resolve this with the property was met with silence, deflection, or new obstacles. Nothing undisclosed was optional without forfeiting payment already made. Hotels.com’s attempted resolution was a small OneKeyCash credit — not yet available in my account — which does not address the overcharge and simply ties me to a future Hotels.com booking. “Breakfast included” means one Denny’s voucher per booking regardless of guest count. I had three guests. One voucher. Other reviewers report the same. Nothing about this room is luxury. Damaged walls, broken blinds, no batteries in the smoke detector, a tall plywood bed frame I had to climb into at 5’10”. Don’t book here."

"Night staff was awesome, the room smelled like old food and sweaty shoes. The shower curtain wouldn’t stay in place while showering which caused us to have to mop the floor with towels every time we showered. The steam also caused the smoke alarm to go off."

"We relocated to this hotel after our original booking fell through due to the hotel being under construction for renovations. The staff at the Comfort Inn and Suites were extremely helpful and professional. The staff ensured we had a room looking directly over the Snake River Falls below. The room was clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was good. We would recommend this hotel."

"This was literally the best hotel experience my family has ever had. I have never been someone who is just loyal to one certain hotel, but moving forward I will be choosing Tru hotels anytime I travel with my kids! There is a pool table that you can play for free, tons of games in the lobby, lots of fun seating, and a great pool and hot tub! The colors and the signage are so fun. The breakfast was delicious! The staff was so amazing! I had lost my iPhone charger and asked the front desk lady, if they had one for sale. They didn’t, but she lent me her own personal charger for the day! You cannot ask for better service than that! She literally saved me so that my phone was charged to play walk up songs for my son‘s baseball team for the tournament we were at in Idaho Falls. Also, the mural of Idaho Falls in the lobby was beautiful. This is definitely five stars in my book!"
