"Coffee was terrible even the one we bought! They didn’t mop the hallway floors, we were there for 4 days and the floors stayed dirty. Food was gross drinks are gross syrup tastes like chemicals. The first room they gave us was full of mold it smelled so bad they moved us rooms to a side where they were remolding they started demo at 6 am and it smelled like acetone. The beds were small and hard definitely do not recommend."

"We stayed at COBA and it is outdated, Akumal, Tulum and Adults Only tequila looked much better and updated. Best advice I could give you is upgrade at the property so you can at least use all of the restaurants at Akumal Luxury"

"Clean and spacious resort. Being spread out makes it less crowded or noisy. Good pool and ocean is long and plenty of space to seat. "

"Beautiful resort, nice pools and very attentive staff. Great restaurants with delicious food and with big variety. We loved our stay in this resort. The only thing that we consider was lacking was maybe more pool activities by the entertainment staff like games and competitions. Also an actual Teen club would have been nice as our 14 year old daughter didn’t have much for options if it wasn’t for soccer, volleyball etc in the athletic area."

"The resort is lovely, the building is well laid out, the amenities are great, the food is very good, and there is a wonderful breeze that flows through the lobby. All of this is wonderful and can be replicated in other resorts. But the thing that sets this resort apart is the staff! They are amazing and they care so much! Karen and Natali as concierges, Erik and Roberto assisting at the pool side and at the beach, the entertainment staff of Abigail, Perla, and Edwin were just wonderful. The serving staff at the restaurants were also top notch. Our daughter has celiac disease and an allergy to peanuts. This was noted and carefully catered to at every meal. Suggestions were made for alternatives and each menu had options for her. I would like to specifically recognize Manuel in El Patio, Jose, Teresita, and Bradley in Oceana. This was one of the best family vacations we have had! Thank you!"
