"Very well located, in the heart of the city, right by Saint Catherine and the subway system. The parking, using their valet works really well, they are quick enough to retrieve the car when you ask for it. The staff was always attentive and helpful. The downside is the breakfast that is not as good as what you would expect for such a nice hotel - no scrambled eggs, no bacon, only one type of bagel, with sesame. We had the family suite with two bedrooms, but one of them is not closed, it has no door, is just wide opened to the rest of the suite, so if anyone sleeps later, has a late snack or uses any area of the suite, whoever is in that bedroom will listen to the noise and have lights on them. Apart from that the suite is very complete, clearly was updated and well kept. On our kitchen there was no frying pan to make scrambled eggs for the kids, but we never asked for it, they might have provided as the staff is very helpful. These are minor issues though, overall it was a great stay and we would definitely return there and advise friends to stay as well."

"The building looks old and worn down. Carpets need changing in the elevator and tvs need to be upgraded to have netflix. They should include soap for sink in the kitchen if they include a kitchen."

"the unit came with a 1/4 roll of toilet paper. we ran out after our first day. we asked for more toilet paper six different times on two different platforms. We were gone for the day and didn't come back until midnight. They never supplied more toilet paper and we had to find some very late at night. The communication was terrible. We searched the entire unit and only found a can of comet. The shared common area did not have spare toilet paper or paper towels or napkins available. BUT THE WORST PART is the lack of dark curtains. It is impossible to sleep with only a sheer beige curtain that covers 3/4 of an 8 foot window. We were awake by 6 am every day. The sunlight warms the room to the point of it being unbearable to sleep in. There is no fan, AC or working thermostat. Save yourself the headache and spend the extra cash to stay elsewhere. You will regret choosing this location. The shampoo and soap bottles do not contain what is stated on the label. I almost had an allergic reaction, but luckily recognized the smell of the allergen before spreading the soap all over my body. The spare pillows had long black hair. You can hear the other guests' conversations crystal clear. The terrace is pointless as you cannot smoke. Thankfully, only the hotel was the bad part of our trip. Other than this scab on Ontario st, the rest of the city is quite lovely."

"I was worried after reading several horrific reviews however, my fiancé and I were there for four nights and five days and the room was clean and excellent location to old Port Montreal. The bus stop is right outside the hotel which made it easy to commute around for cheap. We took advantage of the self-serve laundry room they have a vending machine in the lobby that has laundry detergent and dryer sheets in it. For the washer and dryer it was around three dollars per machine. Our room was very large with a living room and couch. The cons would be no coffee in the rooms no shampoo, conditioner, or body wash in the rooms. Our hairdryer wasn’t working and the bed was extremely small other than that. Excellent stay. Would return."
