"Beautiful, well maintained facility frequently used for wedding venues. The grounds are absolutely spectacular. The rooms are extremely well done with high quality furniture and comfortable beds. One potential disadvantage for overnight guests, if you're not in a wedding party, it takes about 45 minutes via carriage to and from the ferry terminal."

"Beverly was the ultimate concierge! Excellent advice on seeing Mackinac Island and even places to stop on our road trip after. Food was great. Location on the beach is nice. The room/hotel are a bit run down but not bad & the only reason for less than 5 stars."

"The decor is dated but room was comfortable..large hotel and breakfast area is very busy. Lacked staff at breakfast to keep trash cleaned up. Had rude receptionist when checking in but otherwise was good stay with excellent access to Mackinac island."

"The location is amazing. The lake views and access are beautiful. The amenities are wonderful. The staff is excellent. The rooms are a bit dated and the doors to the rooms are dented and have light that comes through. The sink being directly by the door is a tad inconvenient but overall the room was useful, quiet and enjoyable."
