"The hotel was excellent, beautiful maintained and functioned like a well oiled machine. The room was first class and super comfortable, definitely the most comfortable bed I have slept in during my stay in Japan! Unfortunately they was one incident that I felt let them down and was certainly not expected from an organisation as polished as this. I made a mistake with my booking, I called the front desk, from outside the hotel, in the hope of getting someone to help me. When the call was answered, I asked if English was spoken, the Lady on the line made a response and then put me through to another Lady, when I asked if she spoke English, she just hung up on me, we did not get cut off. This was very disappointing and resulted in me having to travel across Kyoto to appear at reception in person, very inconvenient. I would have expected better from such a high hotel."

The property is easy to get to from Kyoto station, the staff are all so friendly and professional, the amenities are great, rooms are clean and comfortable. "This place was fantastic, we stayed during Silver Week, which meant the hotel was full, however we never once felt crowded. The only thing lacking was a laundry service, however there is a laundromat 600m away. The closeness to the station which is only one stop from Kyoto was really convenient. Looking forward to coming back."
