“A surprising bit of luxury in a small guest house. We stayed at the Glen Quarter for one night at the start of a coastal tour, but now I kind of wish we'd booked two nights instead. Our stay fell on a Tuesday night in the off season, so I feel like we barely sampled the charms of Kinsale and now I want to come back for a longer stand (this happens A LOT in Ireland... The two beds were fresh and clean and each with 4 pillows and four decorative charcoal grey/black pillows. The bathroom had plenty of thick towels and a bath mat. “As always our stay was amazing. It's such a treat to get away and feel like you are in the middle on nowhere. The peace and tranquility is fantastic. It's so nice to wonder around the shop there and the food is second to none. We had a lovely light lunch when we arrived as we wanted to save our appetite for our evening meal which did not disappoint. The rooms are so cozy and the bed was so comfortable. “This place was absolutely stunning!! The staff was so amazing and helpful. Their driver took us down for dinner at The Hunted Hog in town and it was so delicious. Our room was beautiful and so spacious. A complimentary bottle of wine was waiting upon our arrival. Would book this again and again and again!!! Unfortunately it was raining so we didn’t get to explore the grounds but from what I could see, that was also spectacular. ”

The staff could not have been nicer. The location could not have been better. Be sure not to miss the wonderful Bulman Pub in the next village on top of the hill.”
