"Amazing value. We hiked a gorge during the day and ended up down south so looked for a room in the area and found this with good reviews. Driving to it I had second thoughts. It was a bit further away than I thought and there was not much nice once we got off the main north/south road. As we turned into the facility my mood brightened. "SanSal was in the perfect location close to Old Town Chania, the light house and nice restaurants. The Sea view area was worth the money with the breakfast being an additional bonus. The staff ate all wonderful and they will make you cappuccinos and eggs cooked how you would like them. The ham and cheese omelet was superb! Alexa at the front desk was a gem in providing us a detailed map of the perfect suggestions to do in Crete from hikes to exploring caves and beaches! We loved it here so much that throughout our travels of Crete that we stayed 3 nights. "
