We loved our stay! The reception desk was always staffed with considerate and hospitable people. And the extra amenities like a welcome beverage, pineapple cookies and coffee were a nice touch. The room itself wasn't large but the bathroom was big and the king sized bed was more desirable than space so it still felt comfortable. The room comes with cozy robes and a cute stuffed dog that you can take home if you want to make a donation to a dog rescue - how cute is that? I took off one star because our room was a bit musty and not well-ventilated, but opening the windows seemed to fix it, so it may have just been closed up too long. The location is very walkable. We barely used the car. You can see (and walk to) the convention center, it's just down the street. We were here for a concert at Rady and although we Ubered there, it's not a bad walk if you don't mind a lot of stairs to get up and over the convention center first. All in all, we would definitely stay here again. The convenience and attention to detail were well worth the price. Also people bring their puppies!
