"Will 100% be back. This pool was one of the best we’ve ever been to. The staff was so attentive and friendly! The decor is so beautiful- only downside is the food at the restaurant was silly expensive (like $150 for 2 people for breakfast!) so I’d say there’s a good coffee shop across the street! But the amenities are amazing! Clean and big villa rooms (stayed in a 1BR villa room)."

"Hotel Experience Pros: - Beautiful ocean views - Staff and service were friendly and helpful - Convenient location - Felt safe and secure throughout the stay - Rooms looked modern and visually appealing Cons: - Major mosquito issue inside the room. My fiancée ended up with multiple bite marks on her arms despite us never opening the balcony door. It became difficult to sleep comfortably. - Not enough wall outlets for electronics and medical devices such as a CPAP machine. - Bed sheets appeared to be repositioned rather than fully changed during housekeeping. - Food quality was disappointing overall. Much of it tasted reheated or lacked flavour. The breakfast buffet also raised hygiene concerns because birds/wildlife were eating from the serving areas. The hibachi restaurant was the only place where the food felt fresh and enjoyable. - Drinks also appeared heavily watered down, including Coca-Cola and Fanta ordered at the resort. - Concierge was unable to assist with arranging flowers/cake for my fiancée’s birthday despite multiple attempts. - Due to the mosquito/bug problem, sleep quality during the stay was poor. Overall: The property has beautiful views and good staff, but the mosquito issue, food quality, drink quality, and overall comfort made the experience disappointing for us. Unfortunately, we would not return."

"We truly enjoyed our stay! The property was absolutely beautiful — from the clean rooms and pools to the facilities and dining areas. Everything was well maintained and created such a relaxing experience. Marco Polo was definitely our favorite restaurant and dining experience, but honestly we enjoyed all of it. We especially loved the beach parties with drinks and appetizers, along with the live music and bands throughout the resort — including the Mariachis! There was always something fun and enjoyable happening. Such a wonderful all-inclusive experience and we loved every minute of it!"

"I am in the airline industry and travel the world and have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the last 20 years. If it were not for the super friendly and helpful staff, I would have not completed my stay and went elsewhere. It is very loud in the pool area in the afternoon with the DJ and music blasting. Paid for an Ocean view and the view was facing the hotel courtyard and blocked by a palm tree. Paid for a queen and got two small beds. Front desk moved me to a room on the second floor. Again, 2 beds and lousy view. Showed the front desk a picture on my phone and they agreed you could not see the ocean but it “technically an ocean view room”. False advertising and paid extra for the view. Every ice machine was broke or missing in our wing. 1 of the 2 elevators was broke. Food was average so we ate breakfast at the hotel and all other meals elsewhere after 2 days. Long wait times for drinks at the pool due to lack of staff. Pool chairs were taken/claimed by around 10 am with towels on them and no one hardly in sight. Hotel needs to stop that policy. Senior citizens get up early and claim almost all the chairs. Never going back."

"Overall a good resort, most staff very friendly and service was good. It’s a beautiful property and pool area and amenities were great. Loved most of the food, although had to wait for a table most nights. The 24 hour coffee/dessert bar was also a wonderful perk! I did have a couple issues during the stay: my water was off in my room for several hours and had to report it. Not sure if the cause. Also, I took the water aerobics class and the male instructor was very pushy and made us touch strangers in ways that were pretty uncomfortable. I tried to leave several times and he tried to force me to stay. I do not recommend taking this class. Lastly noise was an issue well into nighttime so sleeping was a challenge from my room. I had up use earplugs abd even then, there was noise until midnight. Other than that, I loved the shows, entertainment and live music. I would probably go again although there is definitely room for improvement! "
