"I had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. We got there around 2:20 p.m., even though check-in wasn't until 3:00 p.m. The front desk gentleman was very friendly and let us check in early, which we really appreciated. Our room was clean, comfortable, and the air conditioner worked perfectly—it felt so nice after being out in the Texas heat. Our room had a sofa bed, and when we asked for the bedding, the front desk lady was very kind and quickly gave us a bag with everything we needed. The pool was a pleasant surprise because it was heated. The evening breeze was starting to get chilly, so the warm water made it very comfortable. They also provided pool towels, which was a nice touch. My daughter had so much fun swimming. Breakfast was delicious, and we especially loved the pancake machine—it was so easy to use! Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The best part happened when we were checking out. We had already loaded our car when one of the employees came running outside to return the AirPods I had accidentally left in our room. That was incredibly thoughtful, and I was so grateful for their honesty and kindness. The hotel's location is excellent—it's within walking distance of the beach, which made everything even more convenient. Overall, everything was perfect. The clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast, heated pool, and outstanding customer service made this one of the best hotel stay"

"The resort is conveniently located close to anything you might need that you didn’t bring with you. It’s a very clean, secure and safe facility which I appreciate as a senior traveling alone. The property is somewhat private as no other buildings or homes are within eyesight. We were able to take family photos on the property as the ambiance was perfect for beach/vacation photos. I love having a full kitchen in my room and private boardwalk access to the beach was fabulous. All staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. My daughter lives on the island and I visit from Boerne often and stay in hotels for privacy when I’m visiting multiple nights. I would enjoy staying at Lively Beach more frequently however, the price point would need to be lower to enable frequent stays."

"Room and price were on point. Pool was cute but no lights at night. Kitchenette and dishes and silverware were provided. Had microwave, fridge, and two top electric stove. Staff very nice. Breakfast was ok. Was literally breads and cereals. Had waffle makers for waffles. Juice, milk, and coffee. Beach was definitely 10 min walk. Close to food and shops. Definitely satisfied"

"We got a room with the kitchenette and balcony, and it was really nice. Decent size TV but the cable they provide is limited. Just beware there is no ice machine even though there are signs posted....you have to pay for ice. There are 2 buildings and we had to go to the other building to have breakfast......breakfast is VERY limited. Don't expect eggs and sausage or waffles. They also have a bar in the building but the drinks are way overpriced. Everything is clean and the water pressure is amazing. Just wanted to be honest about a few things that were off."
