“Loved the location of this hotel up in the hills above Pinhao. Wonderful views from our balcony down over the terraced vineyards to the Douro river below. Incredibly quiet and peaceful spot. Also liked the hotel bar. There’s not much going on in Pinhao at night, but the LBV bar has a nice gathering of guests from all over and a good menu of salads, drinks and other light fare. Rooms are small as with just about all new boutique hotels these days, but very clean snd nice.”

“Something went wrong and staff did not respond with urgency. They gave the wrong information and did not follow-up with me. Any hotel can pore a glass of wine, make a bedroom clean but when you are traveling certain things need to be dealt with when something goes wrong. And then you can see the quality of the staff. No apologies, nothing.”

“Ons verblijf op de Quinta was uitstekend! Super sympathieke uitbater. We hadden een late vlucht en zijn heel laat ingescheckt. De keuken was reeds gesloten, en de eigenaar en zijn mama hebben zelf nog het nodige gedaan om ons alsnog een croque monsieur aan te bieden. De ligging van de Quinta is heel mooi en rustig. De kamer en de badkamer waren niet zo groot, maar alles was voorzien en heel net! Een super aanrader voor een kort verblijf in de Douro Valley!!”

“The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. One of the things I enjoyed most was its location among the vineyards. Stepping outside and walking through the surrounding area offered beautiful views of the Douro landscape and made for a truly relaxing experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The food was also excellent. Everything exceeded my expectations. “A truly lovely place to stay! One of the best hotel views EVER. Very friendly staff, well-maintained and new rooms. And did I mention the views? Fewer frills than some of the bigger properties in the Duoro, but peaceful, comfortable and friendly. Highly recommended!”
