I’m a long time Marriott member and have stayed at numerous properties. JWM Plant Riverside is definitely one of the most beautiful, artsy, clean, and wonderful hotels I’ve booked. I’d like to mention Stephen at the front desk for his attentiveness and generosity in giving me extra bottles of water since I was in Savannah for a race! Highly recommend the walkable scenic property!

For a JW Marriott, we were somewhat disappointed with the valet and room cleaning service. Upon arrival, the valet took a long time. Getting your car on one occasion took about 25-30 minutes. Cleaning the room on the first day did not occur, so we had to track down a maid to get towels for day 2. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, but the service was not JW Marriott caliber.

Bathroom lighting too soft. For a mature female it was hard to apply eye makeup with the mirror provided. I didn’t bring my own lighted mirror as I’ve always had one accessible in my room when traveling. Time of closures of food service on the property, especially on weekends. I noticed people arriving late and some with families. I didn’t look into room service so that possibly could be an option. Didn’t think to inquire.

The bathroom in the room was dirty. The lotion bottle was open and used. There were old (from the previous guest) pill capsules broken open on the carpet that my toddler daughter pickdd up. The front desk was very slow and our lugge didnt come tp our room for over 90 minutes. Over priced and over rated hotel.

Really nice new hotel. Beautiful Lobby and great dining options. We loved the art and Geods in the lobby. It’s right on the river so get a river view so you can watch the shipping containers go by. We really enjoyed that. It is at the bottom of a hill and to get most everywhere in the city you need to climb steep, historic steps. The hotel is also spread out quite a bit so there is some walking. If you’re not able to walk well I wouldn’t recommend it.

Luxury property as one would expect with a JW. The location was great and the property was absolutely beautiful. The hotel offers valet, room service, etc which was perfect for my busy trip. Every staff member I encountered was so pleasant and friendly. I will definitely return!

SO many options for food and drinks in the property itself, let alone close by on River Street. Very friendly, professional staff. Pool might be a bit small on a busy summer weekend but was great while we were there. Get a room higher up if you are in the 3 verses section. We had a low room and there was loud music every nite until late.

The staff was terrible!! The at your service feature terrible!! Never answer the phone!! We call for water and room service and never got a answer! We ended going out to eat!! For a jw the service was terrible!! Next time going to the alida!
