“Great location to the ferry - very dog friendly - staff very helpful - spa facilities excellent - food good - could provide a separate table from restaurant for those with dogs - eating breakfast and evening meal sitting on a sofa not very comfortable. We stayed at Kingsmill Hotel Inverness and they provided a table away from restaurant and bar - so much more comfortable eating at a table rather than being crunched up on a low sofa or chairs.”

“Das Haus und die Zimmer sind liebevoll und geschmackvoll möbliert. Das Haus und alle Räume sind ziemlich neu. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig oberhalb des Hafens gelegen. Die Inhabern ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit und bereitet ein sehr gutes Frühstück frisch zu, wozu sogar ein aufwendig geschnittener frischer Fruchtsalat zählt.. Insgesamt habe ich es bedauert, wegen meiner Reisepläne nur eine Nacht dort verbringen zu können und kann die Unterkunft nur zu 100 % weiterempfehlen.”

Our only real complaint was our room #31. I understand old hotels don’t have lifts, so it’s a long way up to the top floor with luggage. Our room had water damage around the windows. “I EXPERIENCED RACISM IN THIS HOTEL. I am Asian woman, and I spent a day on Islay show day with my boss. They did not open a restaurant that day so, I bought a frozen chicken from the market. However, they never allowed to heat frozen chicken for me because they are too busy for preparing show day event. Hey, using a microwave takes less than 5 minutes!! “No issues welcoming hosts very clean ideal for my short stay while I was working on the island but equally as good for anyone talking a short hiking break or similar would recommend and be more than happy to stay when I return next year”
