"This small hotel is really cute. The rooms are clean, equipped and super nice! The staff was really helpful and polite. They have breakfast and they have 2 light meals during the day which were good and perfect for what they are. Really happy with the property and the experience. I loved the bathtub with view on the interior garden."

We had all the amenities we needed, which all worked perfectly for a comfortable and convenient stay. The stairs were narrow and felt a bit precarious, but we mindfully ascended and descended with care and got more accustomed to them by the end...

"Great hotel and if Kyoto will return"

"Our stay here was the highlight of a three week vacation in Japan. It is an unique, deep immersion into Japan culture and hospitality while still being comfortable for non-Japanese. The tranquility and quality of the environment, the accommodations, and the food were exceptional. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. They savored their role as guides into the culture and traditions that they offered. While it was a very traditional experience, the facilities...
