"I think this place does not deserve the negative reviews it gets. First, there are NO accommodations on the beach. It's a small island; almost everything is on a hill. Cleaning is only every 3-4 days or on request; this isn't a 5-star hotel! This is the ONLY truly Green Accommodation I have encountered; the owner deserves respect & gratitude for trying so hard against the wave of the non-caring. "I absolutely loved this resort! It has a ton of stairs - so if stairs are hard for you - not your place. We actually loved the stairs as a place to get exercise! The views are to die for and loved the staff! The food at the restaurant was delicious! We at all our meals at the resort! My daughter has a peanut allergy and the restaurant staff was sooo accommodating and helpful to ensure she was safe! They were absolutely amazing! We snorkeled, went on the kayaks and loved the pool. What a great place with great people! I LOVED this place!"

"Well the grounds are really exceptional. What a view from our hilltop room! Watch out for the mosquitoes. Lots of food options. We had some good dives, especially Sail Rock. I recommend a scooter rental if you stay up on the hill. We had a hard time Rea hing the operator and the folf art shuttle at times "

"Villas were well maintained. Food was good. View was lovely from the patio. The whole resort was well maintained. Access to Taatoh private beach and Freedom Beach (50 baht to visit if not staying at the resort). Staff was friendly. Stayed here 9 nights and would return. Scooter rental available onsite - likely to get charged for minor scrapes and dings upon return. The cash deposit (chose this instead of leaving passport with them) was 7000 baht and got maybe 1000 baht back. "
