"The Shikitei is right on the edge of Nara Park - essentially it is in the park. In terms of position it couldn't be better. It had all the comforts of a ryokan including a great onsen bath,, and wonderful staff. I can't recommend it more highly."

"Just had the most relaxing stay at the Fufu Nara. The property is exquisite. The staff was absolutely lovely - some of the best service we’ve experienced on our travels. Breakfast and dinner were top notch (we were able to experience both the Japanese and Teppanyaki options - do both if you can). Our room was spacious, immaculate and perfectly appointed. The onsen was so relaxing. Nara Park is a short walk away. We hope to return to the Nara Fufu on future trips! "

"The property seems to be recently updated, it is modern, and clean. The amenity is lacking a few things (for example, it tells the guest to wash dishes and put them away but doesn’t provide a clothe to dry them). Also, the instruction isn’t super clear. The instruction reads to leave the key on the table when checking out (that’s what it says literary in English), when in fact you need to lock and put the key in the lockbox as one example. Also the road to access the property is quite narrow...
