"A very well run hotel with good facilities and convenient location. The price was higher than other hotels we stayed at on the trip but everywhere was in Cologne on that date to be fair. Overall I was impressed and would stay there again."

"My hotel stay was excellent. The food at breakfast and at the bar restaurant was excellent. The only downside is that the hotel is on the north side of the river, where there are very few restaurants. However, if you are there for a conference at the convention center, it is a very convenient place to stay."

"The room was larger than we expected, which was a pleasant surprise. As stated on the website, the rooms do not have a sofa, so there was naturally no sofa bed available. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the front desk staff were very helpful throughout our stay. We had booked breakfast, but on Sunday morning the breakfast area was extremely crowded. It was difficult to find a table, and our family of three could not even find a place to sit together. It also seemed that guests were simply walking in to have breakfast, which made the area even more crowded. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and the spacious room, strong shower pressure, and helpful staff were definite positives. However, we hope the hotel may consider offering sofa beds in the future, as this would make the rooms more suitable and convenient for families travelling with children."

"Well situated just one train stop east of city centre. Walkable in 20 minutes. Nearby bars and restaurants. Staff were friendly and quick with check in and keeping the buffet breakfast area tidy. The breakfast times and choices are good. Food looks like it's a good quality. Pool is on the smaller size, but at least three lane space for swimming, and was good temperature for relaxing. Sauna is a good size. Didn't use the gym but it looked in good condition. The apartment style room had everything you need, including a washing machine (with washing powder which we eventually found). Washroom is spacious. A few minor issues. Washroom needs a bit of TLC. Grout mouldy in places. Our view out of the hotel is toward a litter strewn parking lot and the back side of the convention centre. And the bar, while very impressive, does not appear to function as one. While we were there, including over the weekend, I didn't see it was open. There are plenty of nearby options, it was just unusual for a hotel of that size not to operate as a bar. I would stay again."
