Great room which felt spacious and also had a balcony. Close to main road with shops and restaurants. Large breakfast buffet mostly Korean.

It's the great property near the lake. I recommend anyone to stay here. There is only one improvement on the convenience using the microwave. The hotel staff guided us to inform the owner of convenience store to use the microwave, and the owner hated it big time even after I bought some. I suggest the hotel to put a microwave somewhere instead. The owner of convenience store got not-to-like personality.

The hotel was very clean. The staff were professional and very nice. The breakfast buffet was wonderful! My wife and I enjoyed every aspect of our stay.

The receptionist who checked us in was not at all friendly or informative. The carpet in the room was so filthy dirty, it shocked me that they would allocate this room. The bed was very small.

Great place to stay for foreigners. Bus servince in and out of Sokcho is very close. Not far from the bus station to Seoul either (Intercity Bus that is). Friendly staff that speaks English. Rooms are very nice. Be warned that most amentities aren't included, like dental kits or slippers, and you'll need to purchase them from vending machines at the lobby. People complaining about the slow elevators are hilarious, the elevators work great. Great place to stay!

Somewhat disappointing with cleanliness
Dirty towels were found laid on the bathroom floors, and the floor in the bathroom appeared quite dirty. I asked the house keeping to clean the bathroom but it was still rather dirty.

Excellent location - great restaurants, markets, etc all within easy walking distance. The rooms are very clean and modern (though a bit cramped) and comfortable.

Love our stay here! The staff are friendly and helpful. We liked the buffet breakfast and massage chairs. Also like that they have a cafe and convenient store too. The hotel is near Sokcho central market and it’s worth a visit.

What a nice choice!
Staffs were attentive specially in the hotel restaurent. They dressed in formal attire. Breakfast was good enough. View in my room was excellent. I saw sun rise. Room was neat & clean. We can tour the places on foot.(market or seashore)

Good place, plain service.
The hotel is well located within 5 minutes of walking to Sokcho's main market street. The room is clean and has a memorable view of the lake. Some facilities, such as crowded elevators and distracting breakfast place, need improvement.

Very nice 4-star hotel. Rooms well appointed and very comfortable. Excellent and efficient check-in experience. Recommend adding the breakfast buffet option. Offers standard American breakfast items in addition to some tasty Asian items (try the seafood rice porridge) at a reasonable cost. Check out the view of the harbor and city at night from the top floor patio and also the 3rd floor terrace. Short walk to the main Market, restaurants and the city park. Beach is a short cab ride away. Seoraksan is a 20 minute cab ride. Overall, enjoyed my stay at rhe Sea Cruise Hotel.

Sea Cruise review
I stayed in room 1701. A very clean room and a nice view of the city and bridges. Service was excellent and the desk personnel were very helpful in guiding me to dining areas in town. Café Pastrucci in the lobby is good for snack cakes but doesn't open until 0800. The breakfast was pleasant with a decent selection of various dishes.
