“This is a spectacular property. See other reviews for details. I would warn other that the check in tech was not able to find my reservation. Help button at the unmanned desk did not summon anyone. I had to find the confirmation email and call the number. I was then given the wrong room number by that person. I think the link between Expedia and the property is weak, and the timing of the texts the property sends was late to me.”

“Room was very clean & comfortable. Make sure to bring your own pots, pans, utensils, plates & so on as they are not provided with the room. If you don't have them with you, they sell sets at the front desk. Hotel was very quiet, never heard a TV or any noise from other guests.”

“We found our check-in to be accomodating especially since I have mobility issues. Our room was to be on the second floor and we were provided with a first floor upgrade at a nominal fee. It was quiet with a comfortable bed . We did find that our operation of the television was quite difficult. We feel there should have been more explanation on its control. “We had a fantastic time at the Mountain Inn. I was there for a 100 mile race and the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed to be successful. They even went to the trouble to make me my own breakfast to go! We will absolutely be back to see JP and Bodie!”

“Window to our first floor room was broken and wouldn’t lock. Asked to change rooms and were able to, so that was good. Staff was generally friendly, and provided basic support. I should’ve lowered my expectations based on the fact that it’s an “inn”, but had high hopes based on the strong reviews. Rooms were dated and both rooms smelled. “THERE WERE NO BEDBUGS. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN. THE TOILET WAS ALMOST ON THE FLOOR. THE ROOM WAS GOOD FOR OUR ONE NIGHT STAY. THE STAFF WAS NICE. THE BEST ACCOMODATION WAS THAT THEY SEPARATED GUESTS WITH UNOCCUPIED ROOMS. THERE WAS NO SMOKING IN THE ROOM BUT YOU ARE ALLOWED TO SMOKE OUTSIDE WHICH WAS A NICE WAY OF RUNNING THE BUSINESS. ”

“The reception area looked inviting. The staff were friendly. The unit we stayed in was good and clean with enough sleeping areas for our family (2 bedrooms plus a sofa bed) and 2 bathrooms. We were not able to use the other amenities so I can’t say if they are good or not.”

“We had one of the apartments out back and it was really nice. The staff was very responsive and helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was very good and the waiter, Brian I think, was a very nice deadpan comedian. We enjoyed the hot tub too! The only thing we didn't appreciate was that it took about 10 minutes of running the water to get hot water for the sinks and showers. Not really a problem to wait, but it seems a waste of water.”

“My friends and I had a great time at The Greenbrier Inn while we were on a weekend trip skiing. I was able to book my room quickly and they had availability even the week before at exceptional pricing. Steve was very accommodating even when we got to the inn late Friday night. We called prior our arrival to make sure we could get our keys as the front desk does have its hours and were told specific instructions to obtain our keys.
