“Booked this hotel as the rest of our large group were staying at The Ivy Bush Hotel opposite, where they had been recommended.
We were not disappointed, the hotel was beautifully decorated and everywhere spotlessly clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was included and was scrummy.
Our friends at The Ivy Bush were extremely disappointed with their accommodation and evening meal and next time will book the Spilman Hotel.

“Perfect venue for Castle events. Clean and wonderful staff. Good value. Outside doesn’t look that inviting but once inside a lovely entrance hall. Rooms had good amenities and a good view of the castle.”
“The customer service is extraordinary. We also got lucky and managed to play a twilight round of golf on our arrival evening. I lost my Apple Watch on the course but thanks to the extraordinary assistance from the reprint at the Manor House, the shuttle bus driver and George from the golf shop we managed to get it back before it was dark. The restaurant staff was also exceptional.What a lovely place and lovely people.”
“Lovely hotel unfortunately we stayed on the hottest day of the year so the room was very hot. The hotel is lovely and air conditioned but the rooms outside aren't but they did provide a fan. All staff were really nice and friendly and the breakfast was lovely. We would definately return of in the area.”
