โGreat hotel with fantastic staff and beautiful grounds. Decor is fab but carpets a little tired which hardly detracts from the "niceness" of everything. The bath and shower are absolutely superb!
Didn't like the pay to park which was not mentioned in the Expedia listing - but the staff, ever helpful, comped me on the parking which was a brilliant bit of extra service. Food in the on-site restaurant is delicious and a well thought out varied menu to suit all appetites and tastes. Beware the Inca...
โGreat location. Very clean and comfortable room. Host very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely stay again when back in Dundee. โ
โThis was such a beautiful cottage hotel. The food was excellent. I had the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had. The village has more shopping than you'd expect. It's definitely worth the short drive off the beaten path. And of course it's a filming location for Outlander which makes it extra special. โ
โDisappointed with Expedia.
I booked two nights here and I was asked by my company to stay an extra day so when I went to book an extra night in the apex I was shocked to learn it would cost me ยฃ160 per night without breakfast.
The first two days I booked was ยฃ127 per night + ยฃ14 parking fee.
So when I tried to book an extra night Expedia had bumped the price up to ยฃ160 per night .
I checked and there were plenty of rooms available so there was no excuse .
Absolute disgrace! โ
โLovely time. Louise and Maddy (hope Iโm spelling that right) are wonderful and made sure we had everything we need. We loved the Penthouse Suite at the top!โ
โStayed at The Station Hotel for 2 night's July, easy check in even after hours, room was big and clean albeit basic but had everything you would need, staff were very attentive and friendly, breakfast was amazing, dinner even better and very reasonable price wise, lovely bar and well stocked. Overall a very good stay would highly recommend a visit we will be back for sure. โ
โIt's a stylish hotel with a very good design. It's a little away from the square (it's close to the street, but you have to pass through a big road) and the surrounding scenery is not good. The food at the restaurant is not bad. However, the staff are very kind and the room is big and relaxed.โ
โGreat location and quirky accommodation. Matt is a super host. Breakfast around the table with the other guests leads to some great conversations. โ
โOf the 4 hotels I stayed in in Scotland, this was the best. A short drive outside of St Andrews with rates a fraction of the cost of hotels in town. Parking on site was easy. On site restaurant was excellent. The fish and chips was the best I had in the country. Staff was amazing. Rooms were in excellent condition. Property was unique and looked like a small village. โ
