I absolutely love staying in this property. I stay here many times and I look forward on staying here. I love the perfect breakfast. They have easy parking very affordable and the rooms are extremely clean modern and the staff are great. Definitely look forward on coming back and staying in this property over and over never disappoints thank you to the Clayton staff

Pool area was not well kept. Had to take 2 elevators to get to it. Room smelled funny. Still had to pay for parking garage even though listing said free parking. Lobby and breakfast was best part. Would not stay here again.

The property is a bit dated, but clean, quiet, and conveniently located. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast is far above the average hotel breakfast with a wide variety of fresh food items.

We booked the property because it had a king suite and thats what we needed for our family. It had all the amenties we needed. The breakfast was typical hotel style breakfast. The pool was swimable but it had some cracks and rust spots, needed some repair to the outside deck as well. The game room that is advertised was small and only had 4 arcade style games anyway, but only one worked. They had an xbox and a playstation and a small lego table. The pool area also had a sauna. The rooms were nice, but dated. Overall, I would definitely stay there again.

Hotel is listed as having a restaurant on site. The “restaurant” served breakfast only, which is free for hotel guests. The breakfast buffet needed some help. Gravy was so scorched you could smell it before you got to the food both mornings. They were not interested at all in replacing the gravy. Warmer was definitely set way to high.

The hotel employees were very friendly and helpful. Free parking on weekends and free breakfast included. Room condition was very good. Our shower had a digital temperature control which we really liked . Hotel was clean. Based on price paid I felt this was an outstanding value. There is construction in the surrounding areas, so expect to have some background noise during the day. The hotel has some wear and tear and is in need of minor cosmetic repairs. Overall, a very safe and nice area to stay.

We have stayed at this hotel several times this past year since our son attended WashU. If you are looking for something close to campus, and a good value, this is a great hotel. It is no frills & a little “tired,” but is clean and the staff is amazing. Since we just want a place to sleep, this works great for us!

Really loved this hotel. Sure,the workout may need an update .. but the rooms were so spacious and clean! Fancy tech tub/shower. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. Everything i needed. Bed very clean and comfy. Staff was wonderful. Highly recommend.

Good price hotel. I would only negatively comment on the pool/game room. Most games arent usable, and the pool was a bit dirty. Other than that, great stay.

Clayton Hotel was super cute! The staff was friendly, free breakfast as well with lots of options to choose from. The parking was free (over the weekend) and the parking garage was clean. Definitely recommend staying here! only 5 mins from downtown St. Louis and walking distance to a VERY good restaurant called CJ Muggs. The room was clean when we arrived. The shower was pretty cool too once you figured out what buttons went to which shower head. Overall, we will be back to visit this hotel many more times!

They literally closed the pool 30 minutes after we checked in. We saw people swimming and then came down to hotel attendants telling us it was closed. That was the whole reason we went to the hotel. The rooms were dated and the furniture was stained. The breakfast on the other hand was excellent!! 10/10.

Hotel is inexpensive and conveniently located. Hotel has a poor layout, our room had an obnoxiously high bed, it smelled of marijuana throughout the hotel and the noise was excessive.

When we come to St Louis we always stay here. Came for a friends wedding reception several years ago, which was wonderful- and now it’s our spot. They also have a wonderful breakfast which is included. Location is great proximity to many things. Love it

Pool was down which sucked because that's the main reason we picked this hotel. Sofa bed was broken when we tried to get it set up for the night. We ended up getting a rollaway bed that we were told was a little smaller than a queen sized bed but ended up being about the size of a twin. Then they tried to charge us for the rollaway bed. Could see people smoking weed just outside of the door in the parking garage and smell it outside of the rooms. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good but the hotel overall was a 0 rating for us. Would not recommend unless you are desperate.

I was amazed this was in the center of town but didn't feel noisy. The staff and facilities were amazing! And the breakfast opportunity was unbelievable! So many tasty options in a friendly atmosphere. This was a wonderful stay and great way to start my trip!

Good location. Clean rooms. Quiet. Breakfast is awesome. Lots of varieties, delicious omelettes made to order. The shower was equipped with a modern widget to control hand-held or shower water temperature. It didn't quite work as desired. It started well but kept oscillating between 85-102 deg F which kind of gave a funny and not so pleasant experience with the water temp fluctuation. Maybe it was only in my room.
