"Our stay at Apartment Olive near Kotor was nothing short of exceptional. The location was absolutely perfect—close to everything you could possibly need, making it easy to explore and enjoy the beauty of the area without any hassle.
From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel incredibly welcome. Their friendliness and genuine hospitality set the tone for the entire stay, and they went above and beyond by providing excellent information about the local area, helping us make the most of our time there.
The apartment itself was immaculate in every way—spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It truly felt like a home away from home.
What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the view. It was simply breathtaking and is something that will stay with us for a very long time.
This trip was especially meaningful as we were celebrating our son’s 18th birthday, and Apartment Olive provided the perfect setting to make the occasion truly special.
We would highly recommend this lovely apartment to anyone looking to stay near Kotor—it’s a place we would happily return to again."
"We had a lovely stay at R Palazzo. While the hotel is beautiful and the views are breathtaking, it was the staff that really made it special. Everyone who works there is personable, professional, and makes you feel like a VIP guest. They remember your morning coffee orders, ensure you have everything you need, and are just incredibly pleasant to have around. You won't regret staying here."
"Very nice boutique hotel right in the heart of the old town. Easily accessible from any of the town gates and only a 10-15 minute walk to the bus station. Roof terrace is lovely for breakfast, lunch or just a drink and a book. One word of warning, that is nothing to do with the hotel per se, but room 102 is right above The Old Town Pub across the street and it is extremely noisy until 1am. Bring ear plugs or go for a room on a higher floor on the other side of the hotel. Unless you’re one of the revellers out until the early hours!"
"We have just returned after a 3-night stay here and we loved every minute. I had been given an upgrade due to being an independent travel agent, and we had an apartment including own balcony and hot tub!! We also had two bathrooms for the two of us as well. The staff were so friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely with lots to choose from and it was so quiet. It is about half hour walk into Kotor, although sometimes we got a taxi on the way home. There are a few restaurants nearby and a very small supermarket for basics. We loved our time and would definitely go back again!"
"Overall a really nice hotel with stunning views. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. My fiancé was pregnant at the time and they went the extra mile to check ingredients and make off menu items.
We had an issue with a leak in our bathroom one day, but were quickly relocated to a larger room."
"Staff were very helpful and the bar was open late and they did food which was great. However the room and building could have been cleaner, and it felt a little run down. Small things like lack of lift made an big impact. Also pool is away for bar area so you don't get anyone coming to offer drinks (its up a hill beside a different building). That being said I think if you ordered at the bar the helpful staff would bring it to you. It's also a little out of the way and the bus service is not great. Overall for the price and fantastic staff it's perfectly fine. Just go in with your eyes open."
