The rooms are small but enough for a comfortable stay. The decor was modern and the facility was extremely clean. The staff was very helpful whenever needed. The only issue with this hotel is if you have limited mobility the only way to access the elevator is up one flight of about 15 stairs. Wasn't a concern for me but may be for a handicap guest.

The hotel was clean and well-appointed but was on the main road and the noise from clubs until 6am was awful. Sleep was a problem due to the noise of the clubs and the traffic.

Would consider this place again for my next trip
Stayed there for 3 nights in August 2019. Hotel is clean, service is excellent, and location is perfect. Our room was big, clean with a small fridge and a safe. Contemporary appliances. If your room windows face Nevsky prospect, if could be somewhat noisy at times though it was not a big deal. Breakfast is decent for the price.

The rooms are rather small. There is no restaurant, just a small room for breakfasts. Our room was above a street that was very noisy all night. We had little sleep.

We were first given a room that has the unbearable strong stench of a 'urine stained' toilet (felt like I was sleeping in a toilet for the first night).Thankfully, after one night (booked for six nights) they allowed a change to a definitely cleaner but much smaller room then we have paid for. The curtain does not have blackout, therefore wakened by bright sunlight every morning, early 4am sunrise. Breakfast: minimal quality & quantity, bread usually dry (not fresh) & not even replenished when finished; meeting minimal standards for quality (only on our last day, it improved with quality & quantity). Only one staff is responsible for everything, explained why he served with a perpetual unwelcoming stoic face (maybe typical Russian persona). Hotel guests must sign an open statement for charges if one should break/damage anything (quite a long list) in the room, ranging from a glass for 150 roubles to toilet seat (!!!) for 1500 rouble (even toilet is listed)...never in my travel, have I encountered such a compensation list from the hotel. Guest must also pay 200 roubles for registration as a guest. My credit card statement has not arrived, wonder what else would be charged??? Counter service staff speaks good English and is helpful, though being more smiley & hospitable in persona will be appreciated in service industry.

uncomfortable stay
the hotel location was great. the bed was HORRIBLLY hard and uncomfortable, little to no sleep for the 10 days I was there. I had to request several comforters to place on the bed to lay on so that we could sleep. the room temperature was hot and we could not figure out how to use the remote to change it and no one was able to help us. the language on the TV was not able to changed to English. During the night, you could hear what sounded like chairs being pulled across a floor, it was loud and disturbing. we left the TV on to drown out the noise but that didn't help much. The staff who serviced the room seemed nice enough only because of the language barrier we didn't get much service, we had to point/show them when we needed towels or toilet paper. Room service food was pretty good- salty but good. the room was pretty inexpensive, so I guess you get what you paid for. I would have rather paid more and had a more comfortable stay. It is difficult to stay in a country where you do not speak the language and are not able to communicate with many of the people. Some of the desk staff who spoke some English were great but it was difficult to order room service or items you may need in your room.

Brilliant location on Nevsky Prospekt. Large room and well appointed. Clean and well organised. Breakfast a bit chaotic and the quality could be better. We thought the room would be too noisy for us but in fact we slept well as the windows are well insulated.

Ideal position
Ideal position on the main road in St Petersburg. Lots of shops, restaurants, churches etc on the road. Large shopping mall just over the road. Just 10 minute walk down to the church of spilled blood and the Hermitage. Nice dining room and breakfast. Room good. Would recommend it to friends as being very convenient for sight seeing and shopping.
