“The room was very clean and had great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly. The space is beautiful and charming. Bartender and Restaurant staff were exceptional and the food was amazing. My only piece of feedback would be to add some lounge chairs near the pool. But next time I come back to St Thomas there is no doubt I’m staying at Hotel 1829! ”

“I’ve stayed here many times already it’s always my to go whenever visiting st Thomas. Only thing I would recommend is faster service at the restaurant the food is great just takes forever to get any request from server. I also would love if they updated the hotel itself so much more potential if rooms were remodeled ”

“Clean room, attentive staff. The only thing i frowned upon was the breakfast food because everything, from the eggs to the bacon to the waffles tasted like fish. Perhaps the cooking oil used was previously used in cooking fish. Overall, I would 100% recommend this place to stay. It’s also economically friendly. ”

“This place is a budget hotel near the downtown and airport. If you want to be near the beach pick one of the many resort hotels. When they say they have parking it is street parking but there was usually a spot not too far from the hotel. Street is very crowded so if you drive make sure you’re comfortable on small streets and parallel parking etc. The breakfast was either pancakes bacon or sausage or eggs your way toast and sausage or bacon. My kids were 3 am 5 and enjoyed The very small pool. I...

“The property itself was very nice and had a nice breakfast. It is not walkable however like reviews say. That is misleading. There is a hill to walk up to get to the property and then a very steep driveway to the actual rooms. We were told by a couple taxi's they can't drive up it. We had to lug our luggage up this because reviews said it's "walkable".”

“It’s was an okay stay. The air worked just fine when there was power being that they run off solar panels, the parking was a little struggle one being on a hill and also other business parking in the same area. Again it was not horrible the location was perfect just too man steps just to get to your room and the parking. ”

“Staff was friendly and responsive. Our room was beautiful and well equipped and cleaned daily. The beach was lovely and the cove provided protection against the winds other beaches were facing. The waters were clear, and we saw a lot of sea life just outside our door with goggles! Parking was easy and close to our door.”
