"The person that works check in desk went above and beyond for us every one that worked there was very nice and friendly would definitely stay there agin loved all the new upgrade from the last time we stayed the room was much more welcoming and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great as wel. Can not report anything bad about the place"

"Spent a couple of nights in St. Ignace. Breakwater was excellent - 2 minutes away from the ferry to Mackinaw Island and a shuttle to get you there for a day trip. Breakfast was great as was the restaurant for dinner. Rooms were spacious, clean with a balcony and great views of the lake and the island. Friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend."

"This is a perfect hotel to stay at when you'd like to prioritize relaxing over the tourist stuff in the city. Just far enough away to have some quiet but close enough you can still enjoy downtown Mackinac. The staff was extremely helpful, I had a tv issue happen fairly late at night and one of the employees fixed it almost immediately. Would stay here every time i'm in the area."

"We had an awesome time. Loved the view of the lake and that they have both an indoor and outdoor pools and hut tubs. We also loved the breakfast selection available. We are doing the Lake Michigan circle tour, and this is the best hotel we have stayed at along the stretch."
