“A little slice of heaven in the mountains. I haven’t stayed during ski season but this lodge is part of the Sierra Club. I stayed towards end of spring/early summer and found this to be a beautiful lodge with every amenity a weekend camper or van lifer would need. They have clean bathrooms, a beautiful main room to hangout in, a kitchen room with fridge and microwave (I believe the original kitchen is no longer available unless they have events or food plans running for ski season). “Great place to stay”

“There was plenty of parking. There was no elevator, which is disclosed on the inn’s website. The grout between the bathroom tile looked like it hadn’t been scrubbed in years. The place appeared to be minimally maintained and, to me, over-priced but maybe that’s what the market will bear in Truckee.”

“Room, kitchen, bathroom, family room was clean. Only issue was the sink and shower faucet was very stiff and hard to adjust. Quiet and the balcony was wonderful. Convenient location.”

“Room was beautiful. Dining was awful. Bland food and terrible service. Front desk was not knowledgeable about things to do in the area. Went on the onsite hike and trail was not well marked. Off duty employees said they hadn’t gotten around to the t yet. Very underwhelmed by the resort”
