"We had a great stay at this 100-year-old Japanese home. The mix of traditional architecture and modern updates was impressive, and the house was clean, comfortable, and easy to settle into. Tadao, the host was very responsive and made communication a pleasure. We only wished we had booked a longer stay. Would definitely recommend a relaxing stay directly across the rd from the beach. "Hotel Metropolitan was wonderful to stay in for our 2 week Japan trip. The staff were very polite and helpful. The refurbishment they have had is wonderful, the bed was very comfortable, the room was a good size and it was everything we needed. It was helpful that there was a Muji restaurant connected with out hotel as it meant we could easily have a buffet breakfast. The location was great and we had a wonderful time."
