We went as a family of 4 and rented the 2 bedroom condo. The set-up was a king room on the main floor and 2 doubles in the upstairs loft. the set up was sizable and preferred to a traditional room, but would have preferred a door on the upstairs bedroom. Thin walls make it tricky for adults to navigate the main level without waking the children upstairs. Also, the loft doesnt allow for window coverings so the room gets very bright early. Not a ding on the property, but something to be aware of when booking. 2 sets of washer/dryer was very convenient. Be advised, there were no elevators and the condo we booked was located on the 2nd floor of steep steps with another large staircase in the condo. Overall the lodging was lovely. Bring your own shampoo/conditioner and body wash.
The ammenities were a bit lacking when compared to other Wyndham properties. There are 3 pools. The lazy river and splash pad in 1 area. The most disgusting looking indoor pool that made me want a shower just from looking at it. And the main pool. No bells and whistles at this pool, but comfortable and convenient to most of the buildings. The food at the pool was family friendly and not terribly overpriced. There were some activities planned every day, but maybe only one or two per day. Significantly less than expected for a family resort.
All in all, it's a nice, quiet, family appropriate place away from the chaos of Myrtle, but still close to the fun. It needs some updates in the amenities, but it's f
