The staff, restaurant and location were all great. The rooms need some work and basic items were just not there for the money spent...

They need to spend more time in the bathroom because it was disgusting if I could show you photos of it terrible it smelt very musty and I’m an asthmatic so I coughed all night. It could do with a better mattress facilities wasn’t good at all. We will never stay there again but I have to say that the food there was absolutely beautiful. the room needs to do a bit more in the room get rid of the mole that is in the bathroom we stayed in room 13 disgusting.

Location and price convenient for this visit. Minor issue with access card.
I was happy with the accomodation but I left some expensive medicine in the room and emailed the hotel about it and received no answer back.
Communication not good.
My only gripe really as the staff were great and helpful in site
Staff were great and helpful, room cleanliness was extremely substandard. Ensuite bathroom felt like a public toilet. Carpets felt grimy. Bedding had blood and large yellow stains. “Shared living space” is two chairs and a coffee table in a hallway. Hallway smelt like smoke. Booked for two nights and ended up leaving after the first. ‘The Mill hotel’ is only a 5 minute drive away and around the same price, absolutely a steal for the price. If you’re wanting to stay in that area I highly suggest staying at the Mill instead. Honestly sleeping in the train station right next to the motel would be cleaner and give you a more peaceful sleep than the Panania Hotel.
Unfortunately upon check In the room I was given had not been cleaned. I was given another room that was clean but I had to use 2 different keys due to a malfunction which took about an hour to sort out. After travelling from Melbourne this was quite an inconvenience. I arrived on Friday night and the music was terribly loud from down stairs from the bar. So much so I couldn’t sleep at all until it was finished at around 1am and I could still hear people vomiting in their rooms and walking about. Two people had showers which were as so loud it woke me up at 3-4 am. Then at about 5.30 am someone tried to enter my room.
The manager and staff were lovely and offered me dinner the following night, but I decided to leave as I was driving back to Melbourne and knew I would get no sleep anyway being a Saturday night with the rooms not being noise proof at all.
The room was basic but clean and comfortable.
The facilities at the pub and near are excellent. I would suggest getting a room with shower. The accommodation is very basis but ok. The location and ammenities nearby are what makes this a good place to stay
I booked this hotel for one of our drivers, booked and paid for with company credit card. I sent the driver the full itinerary, he arrived and they refused to let him stay because he did not have a physical card on him, they also refused to let him order a meal.
I book hotels regularly for drivers and have never had this happen to any on them. Absolutely disgusting, they did not even have the decency to contact us to verify and or sort it out. I am still waiting for a phone call back from them this morning as their phone goes straight to answering machine. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
