โI am not the energy type and there is very good energy in this little place. It is literally the closest spot to what they call downtown here. Itโs very old so it will instill nostalgia and was absolutely perfect for me. Do not expect a five star hotel. These places are very old and to find any of them well kept is great. Thereโs a modular showerhead and they have Wi-Fi, etc. Area is insanely dog friendly. Whole episode has been great. โ
โOur stay was perfect from check in to checking out. The food on was excellent at the Lakeside Inn. The grounds were beautiful. Las Palmas (Cuban restaurant was great!). Would NOT recommend Olive Italian, sent food back. We toured in a golf cart Mt Dora and "Rooster" was great! Very knowledgeable. We can't wait to return. โ
โBeautiful grounds and updated interiors. Spacious and comfortable room and we had a picturesque golf course view from our screened in balcony complete with tall palm trees framing it. Great nearby dining options as well as four restaurants on the property, with two of the four currently undergoing renovations. Excited to see it all completed next time we visit. Loved the area. We will be back!โ
โI had to take a cold shower! Room was clean and I got what I paid for. Minus the cold shower. I needed a cheap room quickly, and thatโs what I got.
