Main street outside the entrance is under construction; thus, very confusing to enter the hotel. Swimming poor is closed without advanced notice. Other facilities require Moriott Envoy and other perk programs that do not include hotel.com reservations.

The Gaya Hotel
The Hotel was great, the attached bar never seemed to open, and the cafe did not seem to be an active. The buffet was great, and staff were very nice.

Hoya Resort Hotel Taitung
Hotel staff were amazing—so welcoming and helpful! Breakfast selections were numerous and delicious. They also offer a late night buffet which was a nice surprise and super yummy. Location is close to the seaside park with nice walking/bike trails. Definitely recommend!
