โI liked most things. The bed was one of the most comfortable on which I have slept. The bath was really nice, long and comfortable. The hot water was hot whenever I wanted it. I ate at the restaurant three evenings. The food was reasonably good but I feel that apart from the jam sponge and custard, the puddings were trying too hard and were too complex to sound attractive. โThe hotel was a little tired. it was in an excellent position and has a lot going for it and it could be better. Staff generally good, service in restaurant could be better. drinks in restaurant after the meal were slow and had to find someone to serve customers.

Continental breakfast of pastries, fruit, yogurt, cold meats, cheese toast. Plenty to choose from.
We had a standard room which was spacious and nicely decorated. Large shower room. The plug sockets had been upgraded to include USB and phone charger sockets so you donโt need a plug.
Just a few minutes walk to the steep hill and then onto the shopping centre and round to the waterfront.
