“I enjoyed the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. All my questions were answered very pleasantly. The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet place to stay. It was easy to get to and very convienent being in the middle of Great Barrington. The breakfast was nice also. I would stay there again.”

“The rooms are not at all fancy, but perfect for a family if you want to get away for a few nights. We went with my 3, 4, and 7-year-olds and spent two nights playing in the pool, mini-golfing, and hitting the arcade once or twice. Again, not very high-end, but if you’re with children who love a pool and easy activities, it’s a good choice.”

“We love the Bershire Mountain Lodge. We've stayed here five other times but this time we do have a few very minor negatives. 1) The cabinet door under the kitchenette sink had a loose hinge. We messaged the staff and requested that they wait until after we checked out to repair the hinge. We hope the hinge was repaired before the next guest checked in. 2) The toilet flush handle was slightly cracked but still functional. “We had a late arrival, which worked out with self checkout. Left the next morning after 9am, didn't see a single staff member during our whole stay, Was a bit of a challenge getting luggage up to the top floor without an elevator but we probably should have realized that when we booked. Nice property, nice big room with separate area for visiting. TV channel choices, which included streaming services, was excellent. Overall a good experience, just didn't see anyone there.”

“Shaker Inn is a comfortable cozy inn in the village of West Stockbridge. Check in was easy, room was comfortable, clean, grounds were well-maintained and lovely. Village of West Stockbridge was only a couple of blocks away. We were able to walk to restaurant for dinner. Staff were easily available and helpful.”

“Positives: The room was fine. The staff is helpful as I came with the twisted ankle, he gave me the room on the first floor and brought suitcase and a bag of ice. Negatives: The ground is with potholes, drive carefully. The breakfast area is tiny. The selection is very limited even for continental. Tables were dirty. Hot water for tea wasn’t hot. There’s no usual ramp for suitcase even in front of the office”
