“The rooms are not at all fancy, but perfect for a family if you want to get away for a few nights. We went with my 3, 4, and 7-year-olds and spent two nights playing in the pool, mini-golfing, and hitting the arcade once or twice. Again, not very high-end, but if you’re with children who love a pool and easy activities, it’s a good choice.”

“My impression is that this refurbished historic motel from the mid-20th century is owner operated. Plainly the staff try very hard to give you a good experience. This said, the room stank of disinfectant, so badly that I had to open all the windows for a hour or two to clear the room. Also the property backs against train tracks, which are in use. Otherwise fine.”

“Wonderful and yes, cozy, atmosphere at this establishment -- a nicely updated, clean and well-maintained 2-story motel probably originally of mid 20th C architectural vintage. Excellent staff/proprietor who exudes a calm, polite and caring demeanor. Very enjoyable 2-night stay in the late spring of 2026. Good location -- particularly if one is interested in visiting nearby Clark Art Institute, Williams College or Mass MOCA in North Adams. Would highly recommend if looking for a colorful,...
