"Helpful staff, great location, very close to both Queen Square and Baker Street station. Comfortable, spotless room. Although no aircon in the rooms, there was a good large fan in the wardrobe which worked fine. Breakfast was delicious, although expensive (£17.50 on the door). It's as much as you can eat (definitely worth it, especially if you can get a deal when you book the room). I will definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone."

"The staff and concierge were incredibly friendly and helpful. As our visit was during warmer weather before we even arrived at the front desk we were asked if we both wanted some cold water. Seems small but incredibly thoughtful. The check in process was simple and the staff were incredibly helpful explaining where the facilities are, opening hours for the restaurant and bar as well as exact instructions to our floor. The room was well maintained, and incredibly clean, with complimentary waters and coffee as expected, with a mini bar and other accessories such as a power pack available for purchase including an eu charger. The prices for the mini bar and concession were on a leaflet so you know exactly what you are getting. The shower facilities included all the necessity’s making you feel at home if something was missing. The restaurant provided excellent service and food and again the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. During our checkout it was a quick and easy process with an explanation of any extras If purchased as well as help getting transport to whoever we needed to go. Overall a fantastic experience and would certainly be choosing this hotel again for both short stays and longer periods. Thank you to everyone involved."

"It was my wife’s 72nd birthday celebration so we spent Saturday night at the Strand Palace. The whole weekend was wonderful especially because the hotel presented my wife with a birthday card, chocolates a balloon in the shape of “72” and other freebies. The staff and the service in general was excellent. We had a drink on the house in the bar… I felt the hotel went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend."

"The rooms are very small but we weren’t bothered as only used it to sleep and get ready etc They are kept clean and well appointed and were quiet. Very comfy bed. Staff were great, helpful and courteous. Excellent location, in the heart of lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Would deffo stay again."

"I visited in July 2026 in the midst of high season (crowds on streets) as well as the heat wave in Europe. This hotel delivered on it's advertising of A/C for sure. I felt very comfortable in my room, never had to worry about coming back from a long day out and not being able to cool down. The location is very convenient if you want to get to many of the west-end shows, and the Tottenham Court tube station is very quick walk as well. There are many restaurants nearby. The hotel breakfast buffet is excellent. Well worth booking to include it. Full English breakfast, and wonderful coffee machine to make lattes. I highly recommend this hotel for future stays."
