“The cabin was really cute. Homey and quaint. A true log cabin. There was a pond behind it and trees to separate us from the cabin next door. Beds were good, and the kitchen had coffee fixings and a refrigerator. Loved the fire ring and provided wood overlooking the small pond, even though we didn’t get to use it because of the dry conditions. My only complaint, and it is the same with all properties, is that you don’t get a true perspective of the area around the cabins. Especially in more...

“A very nice place. Close to Hill City but had the forest feel. Cooking utensils (pans) need some updates as well as the outdoor grill.”

“Much better than a hotel. Quiet, peaceful & safe. The outside lights were good. The staff was nice & helpful. It was no trouble to get extra washcloths & coffee filters. We stayed in the economy double unit 21 but there most units around us were empty. Our location was up on a hill overlooking peaceful land & we also had grassy outdoor space right outside our door . There were wild geese & deer running around at times. We had the end unit of a fourplex. The neighbor said that unit 12...

“Really amazing property. Convenient to access the attractions and areas of the black hills. The property is clean, spacious (we had 7 total and had plenty of room) probably could have comfortably fit 12. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice property to base out of to see the black hills region.”

“This was not a Lodge in any sense of the word. These are barracks designed to house oil field workers. There was no one to check in with and had to call the number and then wait at least 20 minutes for a disinterested person to tell me what unit I was in. I would have left but there was a no refund policy and I was exhausted from driving. Grimy floor, stove, drawers, and a general funky smell. When I checked the reviews, someone had posted a 10/10 which to me means that they must have stayed...
